Tplyr is a grammar of clinical data summary — a tool created to simplify the data manipulation necessary to create clinical reports. Based on feedback after the first two months since Typlr’s initial release to the Comprehensive R Archive Network (CRAN), the team continues to work hard to make the tool as useful as possible.
In this release, the authors have modified some function APIs and introduced new functions that make Tplyr a better, more effective package for developing clinical safety summaries. Specifically, updates are focused on missing counts, total counts, and denominators. As all of these are interconnected, it was felt that the interfaces provided should be more intuitive and could use certain functionality enhancements.
The latest changes allow for more customization and flexibility. Documentation was overhauled, as well, to increase clarity and explain the new functionality.
